Modified Image

In the modified image, I wanted emphasis on the body language of the models by using the white to become space within the piece. One principle i wanted to add was movement which gave me the idea of the curves. Eventually developing into the idea of shifting features. I was going for a disconnected focus from the group.
Keeping the consistent eye contact to make the mood feel uneasy. The colors of the image are not as vibrant but they are still visible The idea of the curved dashes was to keep a unity amongst the different ideas. To keep a balance i decided to put the rearranged word and the original on either side of the page.

Analysis
Contrast and emphasis are the main principles practiced in the source image. The image is advertising the clothing, from the intensity of the colors it reminds me of a vintage party setting. The size of the vibrant image is smaller than the grayscale background, which is like a shift of mood going from flashing lights to dusty manor.
The contrast between the palettes gives a emphasis to the middle, the image not being centered fully attracts the attention but travels to the outside. The texture of the two images also falls into contrast, the 1960s looking shirts compared to the ominous bookcase. Repetition wise the consistent eye contact from the models the disconnection is well placed guiding the viewers attention.
